Flew out of this Airport in 1986, 1987 & 1988 while stationed at Kadena AFB.

I would love to go back for the japanese food. I enjoyed my time there in the Air Force as a Security Policemen with the 18th Security Police Squadron.

The Navy had the best chow at the Chappy James Chow Hall.

The Base Okinawan civilian guards known as CG's were very nice and kind to me.

They were like fathers and we drank tea and coffee everyday. Each Christmas I gave all of them bottles of Johnny Walker Red I hope they are well.

My most sincere an honored respect goes to each of the to all.

Oshiro San who was the Captain. I remember Toshiro San, Okuda San.

I still have the photos of the private party they gave me at Toshiro San's home where his wonderful family hosted the event where my entire shift attended.
