This may have been one of the camps used by Trekforce for their expeditions to the Morowali Nature Reserve during the early 1990s. The 'Mastermind' behind the expeditions was the late Wandy Swales. I visited this region the following year (1993) with Trekforce and Bruce Parry - now widely known for his 'off the beaten track' documentaries for BBC television.
