I know very well where is a start of the challenge! ;-)
I did it with full load for 2 month expedition. Also in bright sunny day, with special views of native forest.

I see. It could be anoher end of narrow road between Cass and Lake Pearson - this one heading to Mt. White Bridge. I did it from west coast to East.
I've got very similar photo made near Lake Grasmere and Pearson... not yet uploaded.
Unfortunately, I have not got any beer or pie in this region. :)

Cool! I wonder what kind of image processing turned the shadow white? I've seen unusual "glories" around aircraft shadows while in flight before, but nothing like that.
