This is actually the best view of the Saxman Village. The Totems are its main attractions there in the common area. However, Comma....it is $5 per person to walk around and view these reproductions and of course if you want to know what the Totems are about then please do buy the Pamphlet for an extra $1. Perhaps there is a grain of truth to the adage "When everyone is digging for gold, the thing to be doing is selling picks and shovels" Next time I'll visit the north end of town and see that exhibit and compare these two.
This has been an absolutely stellar summer here in the Pacific Northwest. Chances are that we'll get rained on all the way past next July, but hey we have our Umbrella's and our Gore-Tex.
This is Elliot Bay in Seattle which is a part of Puget Sound. The Ocean is approximately 140 miles west at the entrance into the Straits of Juan De Fuca.
