In het dagelijkse leven ben ik vrachtwagenchauffeur en kom ik voor mijn werk veel in Italie. Dat land heeft mijn persoonlijke voorkeur. Mijn hobby is fotografie en ik heb dan ook altijd mijn digitale camera bij me. Thuis worden de gemaakte beelden op de computer met een beeldbewerkingsprogramma "gePhotoShopt". Vroeger had ik nog een doka, maar dat hoeft tegenwoordig gelukkig niet meer. Panoramafoto's maak ik ook op de computer met het programma Autostitch.

I was born on dedemsvaartweg 400, corner hengelolaan in 1957, my mother lived there till 1998, a few years later it was demolished. This part of south-west the hague was build in 1954 or so, and used to be the southern edge, close to the westland/farmlands, lots of childhood memories of a now forever changed postwar development area, shame though
Schokland was an island in the early days. Its early inhabitants were fisherman and were very poor. On sundays they went to church to pray. This church is on the picture and you can still see how these people lived their lives, about 10 feet above the seelevel. Some water is left, so I hope you can swim!
