Kia ora e hoa ma! (Hello my friends!) I am a New Zealand paramedic who loves to travel to visit new places or revisit old ones & my camera always comes with me. I especially feel at home in the wild, untouched places which are becoming harder to find (& at my age, they are getting harder to reach). New Zealand (or Aotearoa) is a land of mountains & beaches & from my home in the town of Masterton I can reach either in under an hour. I have a wonderful, funny ten year old son who loves coming along with his camera too. I love using this site to showcase the stunning country I live in & aspects of ordinary New Zealand life. Come along with me. And please feel free to comment on any of my photographs, to help me improve my work. Lyndon

Lyndon's conversations

I like the simple composition of the photograph the happy times that it suggests, ie all those kids who have played in tis place, thank you to the "to be 3 three" group Like 1

But, we are amused.

great, and ghostly, greetings from Norway

Beyond the colourful gardens stands a building awaiting demolition after being severely damaged by earthquake in 2011.

Thanks Lex. I believe the building itself is beyond repair but there are hopes to at least save the facade & rebuild behind it.

polatonium, yes, it's a game, but i think a little bit dangerous .. Best wishes a.beyer
