Dear panoramio friends. Due to the upcomming closing of that site I feel sad on the one hand. On the other: approximately 10 years ago we got a platform that grew with me. With us. Lots of joy and fun with folks we liked. Others left for their reasons. Others passed by. It is like life is - things goes on and I will have to fly on my own wings to new horizons.
So thanks to all that came around here and enjoyed the images i posted here.

Danke lieber Wolfgang...wahrhaben wollt ich´s ja nie, und als ich es dann gelesen habe, wusste ich, daß es vorbei ist. Dann hieß es handeln und das Ergebnis war Ipernity...ungewohnt aber herzlichst empfangen worden und so langsam leben wir uns ein! Mach´s gut..bleib gesund und ich denke sicher immer wieder gerne an Deine großartige Sammlung zurück!

Stimmt. Ipernity ist eine Fotografen-Community, keine Geotagging-Community.
Fotografen vermessen die Welt anders als Google es will. Und das merkt man bei Ipernity sofort. Umgekehrt macht Google unübersehbar klar, dass sie inzischen ganz andere Mittel haben, die Welt abzulichten, als durch eine lästige Fotographen-Truppe. Deshalb wird Pano eingestellt. Ciao, cp_u

Heb je trouwens de Engelse uitspraak van zijn naam wel eens gehoor, Trudi? Dat klinkt zoiets als "Veur-kin-zjet-torrix". Ik heb ooit een Engels documentaire over hem gezien op TV en vond de uitspraak wel leuk!

Ребят, а кто разобрался ,что будет с фотками из пано ? Кто-то уже делал какие-то "перетаскивания" фоток туда-отсюда ?)) Я поняла ,что Валентина что-то пыталась ,но не сложилось- не впечатлило ?;) А у того,кто знает только одну волшебную кнопку на компе "вкл-выкл" ,вообще нет шансов на сохранение фоток ? )))
