Dear panoramio friends. Due to the upcomming closing of that site I feel sad on the one hand. On the other: approximately 10 years ago we got a platform that grew with me. With us. Lots of joy and fun with folks we liked. Others left for their reasons. Others passed by. It is like life is - things goes on and I will have to fly on my own wings to new horizons.
So thanks to all that came around here and enjoyed the images i posted here.

that is what's disappointing me too. Think it is a sheer economic based choice they made. Not bad for itself, but trashing the work of all these users is as bad as it can be. Its a squeeze out.
Naturally people then decide to retire - I turn this into filling my account it up to the limt because the images are already processed. They announce to keep it visible only for one year: I'll get an acceptable body as a reminiscence. It feels something like 'dying in beauty' ...
We'll stay in contact by the one or other way (FB, Instagram, etc) and will fly like birds now away from our nest what was called home.
