Hi, Stefan. Wonderful picture. Beautiful view. LIKE. Best regards, Sergey

Thank you Awais. Yes an amazing place indeed this Hamdar is. From Gilgit you need to travel towards Hunza and from Aliabad/Karimabad, Hunza you can hire a jeep or take local transport to Hoper in Nagar. Once in Nagar, you start on the same trek which leads to Rush Lake. You can bypass the Rush lake and make a U-Turn from 'Barichikor' camp site. The two glaciers I mentioned are 1 (the black Sumayar Bar glacier) and 2 (the white Miar glacier). Actually in total there are 4 glacier crossings to reach Hamdar. (Hoper, Bualtar, Sumayar Bar and Miar glaciers). I made the round trip (Hoper to Hoper) in 5 days. Stayed at the lovely Hamdar campsite for two days and feasted my eyes to a view of Golden peak as if its right in front of me. Hope this information helps, send me a message if you need any further information.

Thank you Munir for enjoying my efforts :-)

We decided to 'make' (since we lost our bearings close to Borit bala) a detour from Borit lake to Passu. We were seeing the 'cones' for most of the trek, but this is the view we saw when we finally touched the KKH.

Thank you, DinoSerafini. I'm glad you liked my effort :-)

Reaching Hoiest was a challange itself (for me). I have a hard time pushing my limits again and again, treking on remote routes. Heavily beathing, I am never disappointed by rewards for my efforts.

Leaving Eagles nest hotel, it took me well over 4 hours of hike to this vintage point. Miles upon miles visibility and a panaromic view all around.
