I live in a small Village at the Foot of the Ober Schwäbische Alb, in a lovely old Farmhouse(200 years old+)(OK, 'Lovely' is a matter of Taste! I like it! :-)
complete with attached Barn, Pigeons, Bantams, Dogs and one Canary(no canary anymore :-(
an Area known as 'under the Bussen', named after the highest 'Berg'/Hill (767 meters/ 2,495 Foot) in the Oberschwäbische Alb on which sit's a 'Pilgramage Church' origonaly dating from the Middle Ages. an old Medieval Tower gives a 360° view over the Surrounding Countryside with, on a clear day, a wonderful view of the Austrain and Swiss Alps, 223 named Peak Tops being visable.
The Village is just one hour from the Swiss/Austrian Border and the Bodensee (Lake Constance)
I am a totaly non-technical, hobby photographer, who simply enjoys taking pictures and sharing and have always been fasinated by Maps, here I get both together >:-)
