I was the General Manager for Maderas Tropicales, the Colombian company that made and erected the wooden barrack units shown here. We also did the living accomodation for Albania (the mine site) and for Uribia (railroad). I worked for Grandmet, initially until they got cold feet, and then for Maderas Tropicales. Later I also worked for Abela Hardy as Maintenance manager for the three camps.
