An A.A.C. Lynx from Gutersloh, the Aircraft came into service in 1978, has a crew of 2(3door gunner)and can carry 9 kitted up troops. With a maximum speed of 160 knots and a very high level of agility the Aircraft is well suited to roles of Anti-tank and reconnaissance. The Aircraft here is a Mk7 skids for landing gear.

The Merlin HC3, capable of carrying over 5 tonnes of cargo, 24 kitted up Combat troops, or 16 stretchers in a Med-Evac role, also various types of under slung load. The aircraft has a crew of 4 and a top speed of 167 knots.

One for the steam enthusiasts "Morayshire" at the Bo'ness station preparing to set off on a journey from the past, built in 1928 at Darlington the old girl can still turn a few heads, and long may she continue to do so.

The Mill at New Lanark, founded by David Dale in 1786, became a model of industrial forward thinking from 1800-1835 when Robert Owen was the Mill manager. The workers were housed in homes on site, given medical treatment and the children were educated at the Mill school.

Set against the imposing and rugged backdrop of these harsh Scottish Highlands, this poignant sculpture serves as a reminder to the great sacrifices that were made by these brave men on our behalf so we can enjoy the freedoms we do today. That ethos and sacrifice of yesteryear is still relevant today to a new generation of brave men and women who are prepared to sacrifice what they have for us, should you be in any doubt as to the validity of that statement, I suggest you take a look round the small Garden of remembrance behind this monument to understand the sacrifices still being made.

Ben Nevis Distillery, is tucked away at the base of the Mountain it's named after. Founded in 1825 the Distillery is just a couple of miles up the road from Fort William, one of many bastions of the English Government built to try and keep the local Clans from getting up to mischief.

Dalwhinnie (Gaelic "meeting place") Distillery is considered the highest Distillery in Scotland. Set in landscape surrounded by the Cairngorm, Grampian, and Monadhlaith Mountains plus the Forest of Atholl, you get a pretty good idea of how alone the Distillery is,but there is always something going on as the distillery doubles as a meteorological station.
