Klaus Mack is located in the vicinity between Washington DC and Baltimore. His journeys take him along the East coast, to the South and West of the US. Much of his time he spends in Central or Southern Europe as well. Born in the Austria Alps many of his photographs are alpine images.

Great shot !
Ike slammed Galveston hard but in no way was the historic city "wiped out". There was high water in the old city area downtown from the storm surge. The Sea Wall built after the Great Storm of 1900 has saved Galveston from destruction several times now.

Eine gewaltige und wunderschöne Kathedrale!!! Heute wird viel zu wenig beachtet, wie viele Jahrhunderte man brauchte um so eine Kirche zu bauen. Der Stephansturm hat über 22 Glocken und der kleine Turm mit der grünen barock Haube trägt die größte Glocke Österreichs in sich, nämlich die gewaltige Pummerin.
