To be more specific, this center is for the start (or end) for the "blue line" El. This center is pretty new and prior to this, the station was in a dyer need of an overhaul. The tracks use to run above where those cabs are (Frankford Avenue) and it was a huge eye sore caused by constant darkness and pigeons nesting and pooping all over the place.
