Hi Christos, many thanks for your comments and Likes.
Ryan, Good shot. Your best so far... keep it up...
Dana, you placed this pic atop Rock of Ages Ridge.
Thanks for visiting this old photo, peacemaker453354! I'm glad you liked this shot! Greetings, Anne
Ryan, I hope you still follow this blog. I did go to grade school at Rott. It was the best school I ever attended. if you want more information about this building, I would gladly help.
Architecturally, it is elegant in it's simplicity.
I have looked at some of your other work and it is beautiful. How did you come across Rott School? When I 270 was built, it really cut off this small area of Sunset Hills. The school was actually in the Kirkwood district as I recall.
Would love to hear from you.
that's a lot of snow....
Beautifully simple. Like.
This is a really interesting photo. I'm drawn to old buildings and barns. They have so much character and history. I'm delighted that someone recognized his grandfather's old gas station. That's so cool.
I travelled along Rt. 66 a few years ago and I remember being a little depressed about how run down the little towns were. I'm from Chicago area, so I had no idea. I didn't even realize there was a big new highway, I just had that old song stuck in my head that makes it sound so great. We ate at the old diners and local restaurants alonbg the way. It sure beats McDonalds.
Heel gaaf gedaan.
Gelukkig geen molen in de brand gegaan. Inderdaad een mooie plaat. Rij er vaak langs en van de zomer voor het eerst met de fiets. Ook ik begrijp niets van aantal hits op bepaalde foto's. Groet, Xander
