Also nearby chambered cairn towards cardross is part of the solar temple with the summer solstice sun being reflected back into the chambered cairn(Lazerus??!!!!the freemasons original"raising"ceremony???!!!!!!!!)from "the royal arch"!!!??? in my photo on the opposite bank of the river clyde at the back/top of port glasgow.....theres lots of it including at the very top of the hill beside the trig point is the fabled "jacobs pillow" where yoo can witness at 10pm on the summer solstice 21/6)"jacobs ladder" or "the stairway to heaven" as i did in 1994 the year of the true millenium ie the real2000ad!!!!!?

Yes, I agree with you about the height, questionable to say the least. I lifted it straight from the archaeological site quoted at bottom. Should question my sources more thoroughly. Thanks for the photography comments too!

Taken with 500mm mirror lens. This large telephoto really flattens the background Roseneath Peninsula above the golden River Clyde estuary.

August bike ride up the Stoney Mollan. My first ever sighting of a wild Weasel. A very charming little predator. This guy was under my camera bag at one point and he was dashing around checking me out. A stoat is 35-40cm in length with a longer tail with black tip. The weasel is smaller 20-25cm with no dark tip.
