Taken with 500mm mirror lens. This large telephoto really flattens the background Roseneath Peninsula above the golden River Clyde estuary.

August bike ride up the Stoney Mollan. My first ever sighting of a wild Weasel. A very charming little predator. This guy was under my camera bag at one point and he was dashing around checking me out. A stoat is 35-40cm in length with a longer tail with black tip. The weasel is smaller 20-25cm with no dark tip.

Sorry, I cannot remember exactly where this shot was taken. It was on the road between Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, a long stretch I know. I'll try to work it out later.
