August bike ride up the Stoney Mollan.
My first ever sighting of a wild Weasel. A very charming little predator. This guy was under my camera bag at one point and he was dashing around checking me out. A stoat is 35-40cm in length with a longer tail with black tip. The weasel is smaller 20-25cm with no dark tip.
Sorry, I cannot remember exactly where this shot was taken. It was on the road between Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, a long stretch I know. I'll try to work it out later.
