Acueducto de Segovia.

only one night. Thus, the devil put hands to work and during the night, non-stop a moment, placed enormous blocks of granite up to two tons, one above the other, no other subject including its own balance and weight. However, unfortunately for the devil, when he was about to finish appeared the first rays of the Sun, for what did not get its purpose to take the soul of the young. The work of the devil, if we listen to the legend, has been standing more than two thousand years going through the city of Segovia from East to West. Its most beautiful stretch is the Plaza del Azoguejo, since there the double arches can reach the twenty-eight meters high. Today there are many people who attend Segovia and admire this prodigious and wonderful architectural work in which, if you look carefully, the holes in the stones which, they say, could be traces of nails of the devil can still be seen

Great photos. Greetings from Ukraine. Regards Dmitry.

Hello Sigurtor! May be, those are unusual colors for a church, but they are very, very impressive and stunningly beautiful! I assume, there are long winters on Iceland and a white church surrounded by snow would be much less impressive. Excellent composition! Like and Fav.! Many friendly greetings and very best wishes from Texas! Anton Trötscher
