Greetings from the South Pacific.
L 7, an interesting view !
Al the best!
Greetings Bruno. Clearfelling always make me sad, because all the ferns, fungi, undergrowth is destroyed while the trees are harvested. But that is part of the pattern of silviculture today. I would prefer to see gradual thinning of a plantation and significant buffer areas around the felled areas so that wildlife and plant diversity is supported, and erosion is managed.
I appreciate your feedback and encouragement, Christos.
Thanks Souw. We are back to that time of the year when cool clear mornings follows wet weather, and we have our fogs that then clear to a brilliant day.
It is too steep to be left unvegetated for too long. But replanting a plantation of hoop pine has begun.
It was pleasing to successfully record the light and shade within the plantation, Art.
I am slowly coming back to Panoramio, Art, now that there is some assurance about its future, and now that I have my camera/computer talking to each other again.
Vielen Dank für den netten Kommentar und das Fav., Carmen! Freut mich sehr, dass dir dieses alte Foto gefällt! Das hab ich noch mit meiner allerersten Digicam geknipst!:) Viele Grüße, Anne
