What's the title of your book Ian. Greetings Berend

Thanks for the info Ian. Greetings Berend

Thanks, Berend.

The crop on the right is soybeans, photographed just three days prior to their being harvested. The green crop in the background is sugar cane ad it is being harvested right now.

This crossing of the gully is referred to as Gossling's Grave. Presumably a Mr Gossling died here in years gone by.

Ian

Thank you Berend. I have been waiting for a calm morning, and this was one. I have a few spots like this ti show you when you come to OZ again. Plenty of birds about.

Ian

This is steep country, Berend, so when the forest is harvested they are quick to windrow the debris (pictured) then replant with seedlings. A close examination will reveal that hoop pine seedlings have been planted out here (e.g. left foreground).

PS: I have been rejuvenated by the reassurance from Google.

Regards,

Ian

The railway has gone Ian but I LIKE the picture anyway! Greetings Berend

Dear Ian, thank you very much! We've had a curious Spring, a change of unusual warm weather and lots of rain with rivers leaving their beds and at the moment it's unpleasant and cold, we're hoping for warmer Summer days. Very best wishes from Switzerland, May
