Ah ƤōƝƓ, I appreciate your Feedback.

Amazing symmetry... like a colossal carpark. Greetings Angelius.

This building was erected by the first French Catholic missionaries to New Zealand. They brought with them a printing press and produced devotional materials mostly in the Maori language. The press is still there and operated by the museum staff.

The distinctive architecture certainly is appealing. I was deleighted to visit here and begi learning some of the critical history of early European settlement of New Zealand.

Thanks Berend and Angelius for your comments and encouragement.

veranik - I'm happy you like it, Hubs

Hi ƤōƝƓ,

It is a coastal lagoon (the largest of three interconnected lakes) partially closed from the sea by coastal beach-dune systems. The lakes are gradually infilling as alluvial deposits from the catchment arrive in the lakes, and as tidal currents bring sand (net inflow) in through the entrance. The base geology is sandstone.

Ze zijn meestal vertrokken voordat je kunt scherp stellen K@rin. Ik zag ze vaak in Menorca maar ik heb er maar één, niet al te beste, foto van kunnen maken. Bedankt, groeten Berend
