Meestal zijn ze aan het windsurfen, maar die dag was het stilletjes K@rin. Dank je, groeten Berend

Vielen Dank für den Besuch aus Mannheim, OPAPAYA!

Does that really qualify as s shelter lol! Nice framing and beautiful view indeed.

Karl Pallinger thank you for your more than kind praise and YSL ~ Best wishes ~ nick

Deserts often have fewer plant pests too, so it is a great place for agriculture if you have the water and the right species for the temperature regime.

Thanks Berend.

The two towns are very new, very modern and absolutely air-conditioned! Not a bad photo from a commercial A-380! My first time on this type of plane!

Kind regards, Berend.

It certainly is, Berend. Yet, this part of the Arabian Peninsula gets quite a bit more rain then the rest, and the deep rocky gorges maintain permanent pools, but it is out on the big alluvial fans that underground water is tapped to create oases, such as this. The small dam is more about flash flood control and groundwater recharge than direct irrigation.

Greetings from afar.

Hello Александр,

There's room for a St Petersburg sign between the London and Sydney signs, and pointing directly at the camera! Glad you like the image!

That's a great idea for you, *Berend8* You can break your journey either/or to and from Australia by exploring Dubai and beyond! It is so welcoming and so easy to visit... and lots of options.
