I appreciate your feedback and encouragement, Christos.
Thanks Souw. We are back to that time of the year when cool clear mornings follows wet weather, and we have our fogs that then clear to a brilliant day.
Vielen Dank für den netten Kommentar und das Fav., Carmen! Freut mich sehr, dass dir dieses alte Foto gefällt! Das hab ich noch mit meiner allerersten Digicam geknipst!:) Viele Grüße, Anne
Hello Angelius! Thank you very much for your kind praising words! Best regards! Anton Trötscher
Thanks for the info Ian. Greetings Berend
The crop on the right is soybeans, photographed just three days prior to their being harvested. The green crop in the background is sugar cane ad it is being harvested right now.
This crossing of the gully is referred to as Gossling's Grave. Presumably a Mr Gossling died here in years gone by.
Thank you Berend. I have been waiting for a calm morning, and this was one. I have a few spots like this ti show you when you come to OZ again. Plenty of birds about.
This is steep country, Berend, so when the forest is harvested they are quick to windrow the debris (pictured) then replant with seedlings. A close examination will reveal that hoop pine seedlings have been planted out here (e.g. left foreground).
PS: I have been rejuvenated by the reassurance from Google.
The railway has gone Ian but I LIKE the picture anyway! Greetings Berend
Spread the word, Panoramio will go on!!
