We were privileged to be able to quietly explore parts of western Poland, Berend. The history has been very painful for a long time in the region and much of that was still evident, yet there was also an earlier era of glory and confidence when political hospitality was generous. Echoes of all of that were evident both in rural and urban areas, as well as in the galleries and stories.
The difference between what you see here and what one sees in a similar photograph in Delft is so obvious.
Thanks for your interest in my images, Berend.
Another excellent Picture!!
(I have taken Jan and Graham just from this harbour on 17 September)
Hi dear Ian,
Today I went in there for a long walking.
It was again sunny day. I remembered that day which we had taken many photos in there...
There is a nice marina. But we had not gone in that day.
I hope we can again go there one day...
It is a very nice picture!

It must be a strange sight indeed Ian, seeing people eating a herring like this. Greetings Berend
I've searched how to get there and what it costs Ian. It's not cheap, but it's very beautiful. Greetings Berend
