Thank you Ian, the first time that a saw this kind of duck in the wild in the Netherlands. Greetings Berend
It was a great day for a bird-watcher Ian. I saw so many and different birds at that lake. I made (to) many pictures while waiting on the Glossy Ibis. Thanks, greetings Berend
These Wigeon made couples now and then fly to Scandinavia to breed Ian. Thanks, greetings Berend
You can bet that I'll return to that place more often Ian. But most of the migratory birds a gone now to their breeding grounds. But in autumn a lot will rest there before flying to Spain and/or Africa. In spring they will be there again too. I'm not sure if it's a nest, maybe one have put some reed on the Island after maintenance. If it's a nest it's most likely from a Mute Swan. Greetings Berend
I've seen so many different species that day Ian and four species were new for me in the Netherlands. Greetings Berend
Thanks Ian, I was sitting in a hide so the birds could not see me. Greetings Berend
very beautiful photo LIKE well done greetings from italy
Iphiclides podalirius on Lantana camara, I think. A delightful and colourful image, Ranssom.
Thanks Ande. I hope those who were displaced by its recent eruption have been able to find a safe place to live where they are able to live productive lives.
