Such a beautiful symmetry! Great photo! Hello from Athens
Glad you like it. Ian
Regards from Sydney.
Thanks for your affirmation, Roger, I was with the right people at the right time! It touches back into our 1769 national history, and that is what I treasure most about it, that I may have an image even better than they were able to achieve then..
Great frame,Amelia, a bit different as usual. About the eclipse, here the weather was very grey, I only saw a little bit of it when it was almost finished. No photos.I'm looking forward to yours. Hugs,Dany
Hi there, Doug, I missed you by about 10 years. I used to live in St.Andrews and played here many many times in the 40s until 1953, when I was dragged kicking and screaming to England! ;-)
I'm so pleased that this has brought back happy memories for you.

Yes dear Ian,
How would be nice, to flight over Queensland's coasts!
Who knows, maybe another day we can visit to Cappadocia for a fantastic balloon ride...
A friend of mine and I were here in 1981 when we were stationed at the U.S.Army base at Munchwieler. I lost the pictures i took of it though. It has a very impressive fireplace also.
Greetings and thanks, PONG. Aerial photography in miniature. It might well be a braided river system reminiscent of the Channel Country of some of the glacial rivers, but this is the surface of the surf beach across which freshwater seepage flows.
Greetings from Australia.
It is a very special ecosystem, Girolamo. The colours, moods and changes are all very special, but its fragility and uniqueness make it ultra-special.
