Thanks Berend. A very Belgian scene. And tonight I enjoyed another special Belgian chocolate.
Normal life, but the Union Jack says so clearly that the history of a century ago is not forgotten!
Given the history, and the fact that the awful history hasn't been forgotten here in Flanders, even now 1000 years later, I was delighted to see such productive activity, ordered lives and attractive landscapes, Berend.
Thank you for being open. :D
Nice image Ian,bet the church would be something to see. Like. Best wishes Brian.
Lesson 1 in Belgian history.
It is a remarkable museum, Jacques. I found its honesty refreshing, the confrontations necessary, and the creativity engaging.
Thanks for sharing with us.
These sculptures are a very interesting feature at De Panne, and the lighting in this image makes it a great photo.
We saw so much in such a short time but now I wish we had walked along the esplanade.
And it was an unforgetable, though brief visit that we made to this church. What a history it has!
This excellent photo is due to your choice of the perfect position from which to view the Tower.
I am so pleased to have been there now.
Thanks very very much, Jacques.
Silence is still appropriate, Berend, 100 years on.
