Thank you ALENDE DEVASIA very much for your visit and kind comment

Thank you very much, Berend. All part of a marvellous holiday in Europe, with this little spillover into Asia!

Appreciatively,

Ian

A simple snapshot of the pedestrian precincts in Kadıköy with a Christian Church in the background. I was fascinated by Istanbul, and I especially enjoyed this shopping area. And there was tome for a cup of hot chocolate at Starbucks!

Kind regards to you Berend.

Ian

It really deserves its World Heritage Listing, and it sure is a privilege to photograph and share this with you and the world, Amelia.

Thank you Antonio. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life: to travel by river steamer along the great Yangtze and through the Three Gorges was a remarkable voyage, especially heading upstream slowly against the run of the river, for it allowed much more time for observation.

Greetings from Australia, Ian

Greetings Herr EhrenbergerThese cascades are set among the World Heritage Listed tropical rainforests of North Queensland. The ecosystem certainly deserves to be appreciated, conserved and enjoyed. It is beautiful.

Regards from Australia,

Ian

It is very special to wake up to the beauty of spring this morning, and see the sun lighting these cliffs and know that you are also enjoying a beautiful time of the year in Istanbul, too, dear Füsun. I see this cliff every day as I drive to work. It is only 5 minutes from home. You certainly are welcome to come for as long as you like and experience life in our landscapes. There are no 'talking' pedestrian traffic signals in our village, so perhaps it is too quiet for you here! Warmest greetings from Imbil to Kiziltoprak.

Love, Ian
