I didn't want to go any closer to the rookery than this, Berend. There were quite a number of nests occupied. Thanks,
Glad you like it, Berend. We were talking about your incredible patience and persistence when it comes to bird photography, at the time. D So this one was for you!
Thank you Rosa, I was lucky that she went to this flowering reed to sit down. Greetings Berend
I recognized that the 'treehouse' also in our region celebrates a certain comeback. One can see them more often. Well, maybe it's only a subjective perception...
I am pleased that this location is appreciated by you, Berend. Thanks. Enjoy your holiday!
Thank you Christos for your appreciation and feedback. It is a joy to be sharing with each other images from our different continents and interests.
It is special that you even bothered to look at my gallery and respond while you are on holiday. Enjoy it and I look forward to your images when you return. My Facebook friends like this image too.
I loved it. Thanks Berend.
Roll upon roll, layer after layer, a series of different ecosystems:
the active sand dunes,
the dry forests with an under story of heath,
pristine freshwater window lake, Lake Cooloola,
the forested wetlands,
the darker taller ribbon of riverine forest,
tall wet sclerophyll forests..
Many different environments each with its own peculiar species: you would be in your element here,Berend.
Kind regards and besth wishes for your holiday.
I enjoy photographing the processes in an ecosystem, and though the wind wasn't blowing the sand at this time, nevertheless the process is clear.
