Where I was stationed and quartered, in these barracks, newly renovated by the German civilian craftsmen. They look rather old; but in 1976, or just a little before, they had just undergone the new uplift. They were very, very nice accomodation's.
Strong German built door's, no "SP's", could break them down. I was there til' Sept, of '77' as a 'Carpenter', I was assigned to the 'Smart Team'. I was no 'Lifer', you could count on that!

Rhein Mein Rockets was the base football team. They played on the feild close to the Thrift Shop, Commisary, and Post Office.
