I remember swiming and diving in the springs when I was a teen. We would drive our boat from St. George lake to the Ocklawaha river to the springs. I would dive down in the 56 degree water near the main spring and drink as much spring water as I could on my way down. The force of the water would prevent me from getting close from the entrance. Back in the day's of Sea Hunt.
