Cari Everhart's conversations

Hi Cari. Your Photography is amazing! You are a true talent! I'm in a local Alt Rock band from Kansas City and was wondering if we could you this photo for promotional purposes. I've tried to reach you on Facebook, but its difficult to get a message through since we are not connected on there. If you are interested please email me at HeraldtheSpider@gmail.com Thanks!

The TWA Moonliner was created for a marketing agreement that Howard Hughes made with Walt Disney. This replica sits atop what used to be the TWA corporate headquarters, downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The original was part of Disneyland's Tomorrowland from 1955 to 1962. Wernher von Braun, the German rocket scientist helped John Hench, one of Disney's Imagineers design the Moonliner.

The Moonliner is located in the Crossroads District at 18th and Baltimore.

This is not a Galveston ferry boat. It looks more like either a tourist sight-seeing boat. Ferries are much larger and carry cars and trucks across the channel from Galveston to Port Bolivar and back.
