The Alma/Windemere Road pub was the Bass House. So the Double Barrel has now closed after all those years! I guess the Warden Hill crowd now go to the Greatfield pub (which was a cows field when I used to live there 1970s).

The former Cavern and Bath House pubs, which closed in 2010.

Prestbury churchyard has the distinction of being set in one of the most haunted villages in Britain. There have been many sightings of a monk - I myself have seen one!

The bridge has now been reinstated.

I'm pleased to report, that the door has been replaced on this kiosk.

Thank you for your interest, there are some good photos of the new sluice gates on Panoramio, but they were taken by other people
