Amir, your photo description is only 50% accurate. Yes that is the Naknek River in the background, but the Airport / town is of King Salmon and the picture placement on Google Earth should be moved to the opposite side of the airport from where it is now (NE of the airport, not SW).
Leftybob, yes there is still some heavy duty radar there at King Salmon, but all civilian use now. The Air Force has long since moved out. I'll be back there in April '09 for some Rainbow fishing!
