الف شكر لك على المرور الطيب

تحياتي لك من لبنان

  • Nicely framed shot.

  • All the best from Iran, Mahdi

yeah that really saddens and angers me (the driving, not the free roaming)

It was called Sahara Towers when it was built, I was one of the very first residents, when there was only 2 towers.

It was in the middle of nowhere, with only one poor road, about 3 miles from the edge of town.

Rye, the Cinque Port of Southern England - for now.

I used to drive this route, never seen the tunnel - thanks

I was the first to swim in after it was built in 1980 The area was unbuilt and 3 miles from town, just talc like sand everywhere. I lived there.

I lived there as it was being built, worked in King Faisal Specialist Hospital. 1977-82

At the time - there were no roads, no buildings - we were in the wasteland outside of Riyadh, about 3 miles from town.

The Germans built it - so it was one of the rare working buildings, unlike some of the damgerous ones I lived in downtown.
