This is a wonderful photo to have. Among other things, Castle Nakhl is one of the sites proposed (though probably erroneously) for the location of the biblical Kadesh-Barnea.
Spectacular picture. I used to pray at Masjid Abu Darweesh when I was a kid. It's a very nice gem in Alashrafieh. I have been away from Jordan for the past 10 years. This mosque will be the first place to visit when I go back.
The second floor used to have very nice view of Amman because the mosque is at the top of Jabal Alashrafieh [Alashrafieh Mountain].
