The photo was token in the August-Bebel-Str. in the south of Leipzig (Germany). It shows one of the typical comfortable dwelling houses, that where built here around 1900. (lugar exactamente: August-Bebel-Str./calle - Scharnhorststr./calle, Leipzig, Alemania

The hospital has the name of 'Auguste Viktoria von Schleswig-Holstein', the wife of the last German Kaiser (emperor) Wilhelm II. The buildings were erected on the initiative of the monarch and with the support of the Turkish sultan. They are situated very prominent on top of a hill between Mount Scopus and the Mount of Olives. The style is typical for German public buildings of the time around 1900 and has elements of the art nouveau.
