When was the last time i visit Cavite City? I was born here, play and grew up here. San Roque, Sta. Cruz, San Antonio, i have lots of happy and a few sad memories to recall. I love the old San Roque church for i was baptized there. I can still clearly picture out the old "palengke", we had a stall there. i remember that right after school in Sta. Cruz, i'll go straight to the market to help my mom.
The cinema's there's Troy cinema near P. Pio, Maria Cinema, Central Cinema at Molino St., Fiesta cinema which was formerly Gem cinema, Roma and not to discount Perla cinema. Alot of the new generation would probably ask where are those now?
A lot has changed in Cavite City, there's been less and less people who speak " Chavacano" it's Spanish with a few tagalog inserts.
I love the fiesta every 2nd sunday of November, the "periahan" at Samonte park. There's so much of Cavite City that i just can't forget.
I'll be coming back soon...
nice one, can you tell what setting you had on it? >> I saw this photo in Facebook and was amazed to what that they say about your photo... -thanks for sharing

this i pic a one memorable leaves of my map picture where im now that having more finish renew from start 2009-2010, of the church . thank you having my visit in home town .from henry abaluyan .
If I'm not mistaken, I think this was the same building located at Samonte Park that's built in the 60's. It was a grassy area front and both sides of the premise, now, looks clean and paved beautifully. The facade of the structure looks exactly the same the last time I saw it in 1967.
On city fiestas: the events like; games, fireworks, and stage shows, were usually held at east side(not seen on the picture)of the obvious round-about.
hey,samcurry...you also have quite a wonderful set of photos here.

why didn't you put the Cavite City Police Station just beside the Manuel Rojas Elem. School
Nice perspective.
