Photos by Joao Robson: on the map, in Google Earth (KML)

I am on a virtual trip from London to Australia, using the photographs in Panoramio to illustrate what is found on the way, going at a pace as if I was walking. I was hoping to make this photo Day 8. The aim is to contact the photographers, to ask them about what they see in their photograph, and by doing so, discover if within each of us as individuals there are common themes as to what we take, why we take and why we share online. It is in support of Gill Hick's Draw the Line initiative. She challenged me to draw a line, so I thought of the biggest one I could. You can find more on both the MAD for Peace group in Facebook (and who Gill Hicks is), and my To Australia by Click group. I like your photo because it reminds me of an afternoon when we had a few hours to spend before catching the ferry back to England, and we came here. The views were lovely.

Há tempos não vou à Abaeté. Vendo a foto da Matriz, trouxe-me boas recordações de minha infância, de minha primeira comunhão e tantas brincadeiras da época. Senti saudades dos que lá deixei. Grandes Amigos! Inesquecíveis! Talvez seja por falta de tempo ou mesmo, por fazer parte de outro mundo, onde o mar é predominante e acabo me perdendo no vai e vem das ondas e na imensidão do azul sem fim.

Problème de définition : il s'agit de la rue du Rosamel à Etaples et non d'une vue du Touquet. Mais la photo est bien placée dans Etaples.
