É pena que toda a beleza natural esteja a desaparecer para dar lugar ao Golfe e a apartamentos construídos nos sítios mais absurdos. É assim que vão destruindo tudo o que há de Belo no Mundo.

Prior to the professor, the cottage was owned by the canal company, and the tenant - as part of his duties - had to open and close the nearby bascule bridge (Cadder Bridge) to allow boats to pass through the navigation. Sadly the refurbished house looks nothing like the original and much of the charm of this setting has been lost as a result.
