I have had many a pleasant trip on my friends boat from Linton to York and Boroughbridge but he has now moved the boat to the Leeds /Liverpool canal. The Lock gates are still in operation but the Pub is closed,now thats very sad.Many thanks Guy.

Skipton is a great market town with lots of stalls. Some good views of the boats on the canal can be had from the bridge.
