Compulsive traveller, presently grounded! To all those people that have invited me to join their group, thank you. However, as I'm presently very busy I'm unable, at present, to respond. A big thank you to everyone that has taken the time to look at my meagre efforts. So many wonderful images on this site that to do favourites would take a lifetime. Not into HDR. The only enhancements to my images are cropping and slight sharpening. Occasionally I use a graduated filter on the front of the lens. For non-English speakers, sorry but my German is poor and my other languages are even worse. My favourite photographic topic is 'Heritage Engineering', though I also dabble with other subjects. To some their home is plain, mundane and occasionally unattractive: to others it's exotic, exciting and wonderful. I photograph the world as it is, "warts and all".

Beautiful place . Greetings , Barbaros

Hi Gordon. Happy new year to you too. I haven't been on here that much myself, so could not comment about Jethro. He changed his user name to his real name which I think is David Brown.

Like a real mirror !!! Kind regards from Athens.

I am looking for company to go hiking on trails and rural roads in Europe. If you have interest. I'm a woman. I have enough experience on long walks. Objective: to know beautiful places and photograph them. Thanks!

Great photo! LIKE Neil

I've no idea where this building is located but it certainly is not at the place indicated. I've travelled this road fo over 40 years and have never seen this structure. From the flag, the buildings and the cars may I suggest it's somewhere in or near Malaysia.

Wow Hatley station , LIKE very beautiful photo ,Greetings ....Joeri.
