This is not an old windmill...it's the left rear wheel of an old farmall tractor. The old boys called them "corkers". The only drawback to these wheels were that they would sink into the dirt/ mud and tear up the land.
I took this photo during the heat of the summer, that's why the water level is very low. The old paint plant is being sold, condos & a park are being planned for the plant area & orchard. Things are looking up for the Coves.
