Thank you for the beautiful photo. I first stood on the shore of Kish Island and observed this ship in 1978. It is an image that has haunted me to this day. It looked so forlorn and seemed to symbolize all the brave sailors lost to the sea over the ages.

I appreciate the effort you made to add the history of the ship. I had not heard that information before. All I knew was the local lore.
