Yes, that's about the right place Rob.. I took a photo of this place in May 2004 (placed on the South West side of the lodge)and the roof was just about intact then. It interested me because it's so isolated, and I was trying to work out how they got the slates (they're Welsh Blue slates, as far as I can see) to the place. Even with the railway a few miles away, it would have been a heck of a task with a horse and cart. Anyway, hope things have settled down there now - my wife lived in NZ for a few years, in Thames, North Island.
This image is wrongly placed. It should be about a mile further north at one of the entrances to Glendaruel Caravan Park. Follow the road north and you will find it.

Can you please tell me when this has been used as the show field if ever?
Also you must have been trespassing to capture this image. Can you refrain from ruing the english countryside and try to keep to the roads.
