The museum you refer to, on the hotel website, at Bamburgh realy is a shrine dedicated to her brave actions. The castle at Bamburgh is the finest building of its type, anywhere. It sits, very prominently, on a rocky edifice overlooking the North Sea and can be seen for miles.
I have indeed been to the beautiful Farn Islands many years ago(by boat from Seahouses Village). There are large colony's of sea birds including the now rare Puffins and the biggest colony of Grey Seals in the UK. The real surprise when we got there was the appearence of a solitary Pink Flamingo which must have escaped from a bird sanctuary in the UK.
