Thank you for your comment & Like Heinrich...Best wishes Brian.

Familiar ground, Murray. Great to be transported back to our Tongan home.

Ian

A creative alternative in the difficult circumstances.

Greetings,

Ian

Thank you Trainsignaller for the extra and personal information. Is the image correctly and precisely geo-located? Please suggest new location if it is not. Or were you referring to the fact that Google Earth calls the area Mount Lambie?

Appreciatively,

Ian

Thank you for visiting my gallery and your compliments Petr. Greetings Berend

I'm a bit slow in reacting, I suppose, Ian, but the owners of this - still private! - Middachten Estate (with farming grounds and extended woods) have always been very modern and progressive. Nowadays the owners are the Count and countess zu Ortenburg.http://www.middachten.nl/ How are you? I am fine, sort of. Fried

Greetings Berend,

The brown pastures are actually brown because the grasses are in heavy seed. It has been a good growing season for pastures. If the country were mowed it would look very green.

Over the first range, the valley is that of Bella Creek, a tributary of the Yabba. I have taken you into the Bella Valley on Panoramio previously, and you liked the creek scenery very much.

All the best,

Ian

The ranges are forested and have become the domain of deer, whilst these upper valleys are used for grazing cattle. Warm regards from the Mary Valley.

Ian

Yes indeed, Berend. There are many roads through and around the forest plantations, and the terrain is interesting as well. One day... you will enjoy it all too.

Ian
