Beautiful stone masonry there..!

Good Photo of a lonely old Grave. I wonder what those poor Children died of?

I live at Mount Barker and that is NOT the main enterance to the town

This house was built for William Coulthard, a renowned early explorer of South Australia's mid north region. He eventually died of thirst on about 10 March 1858 whilst exploring to the north of Port Augusta with William Scott and Henry Brooks. My Mother & Father nearly bought this place whilst staying as immigrants at Woodside Camp near the army training facility. Back in late 1955, it was in need of renovation as early as then.

I Remember this place too but I don't think I have any photos of it either

What a great rustic symbol of our Aussie heritage and pioneering spirit of times gone past considering its location.
