Jon Gibson Hey folks, thanks for taking a look at my scenery collection! I find that what most often motivates me photographically is my desire to share where I've been; sharing with friends, family (everyone on Google Earth, too) places that they may not have had the opportunities to see themselves. None of my photos are meant to be viewed solely as thumbnails, or even some small portion of your display; enlarge, EnLarge, ENLARGE!!! A few of my panoramas, if printed at 240dpi, would be nearly 14 ft wide. Go that extra click or two and see what details there are to be seen… For electronic display purposes, it's not unusual for the vertical dimension of many of my images to exceed 1080 pixels; some far exceed that height… horizontal dimensions have been anywhere from 1440 to 25,000+ pixels. Please, immerse yourselves in the landscapes! Use the blue 'Tags' links (below as: Jon Gibson's tags) to sort and view images by those categories. Panoramio's interface changes from a 'gallery' view to an individual 'Photo Page' view by clicking an image in the gallery (to the left of these paragraphs), or to a 'slideshow' by use of the > Explore button, which is above my name and this short book I've written here… lol. In the > Explore interface you'll find a 'View the Original Image' button… clicking that (!!highly recommended if not insisted upon!!) will display the image as it was meant to be shared; full-sized. Pray you have broadband! Also, please feel free to leave comments on my pictures, I'm always open to conversation. To leave comments, you will of course need a Panoramio account yourself, but go for it; share your pictures and locations while you're at it! It only takes a minute to set up and you might already have an account if you use Gmail, by Google. I look forward to seeing more comments on my images, and seeing more beautiful places that I haven't had the chance to visit myself. I also occasionally share iPhone 4 captures, single frame or panorama as well. I most often shoot manually, while using the LCD as a coach. I finish my captures with various types of software, and I nearly always go for the most visually realistic images that I can create, as far as color, contrast, saturation, and exposure are concerned. I would LOVE for some folks to explain how they got the results they've shared with us!!!)
