My father had an office in the courthouse back in 1956-58 when he was a recruiter for the Navy. I think that I can remember this clock, but I'm not sure as I was pretty young.
Back in the late 50's, this was known as DeSilva's store. We always referred to it as "The little store". I spent a lot of time looking for pop bottles along South Street in those days so I could cash them in for penny candy from Mr. DeSilva. He was always good to us kids.
