I don't think they are called tuk tuks: at least in the North of Peru they are called Mototaxis, Moto being the Peruvian term for a motorcycle. Maybe they're called tuk tuks in the South, but I doubt it.
At a second glance, they don't look MUCH like the Mototaxis in the north. Wheels much too small.

Hola Erwin Gracias por el comentario. Seguí tu consejo y ya la he mapeado. Lamentablemente este lugar fue azotado por un tsunami de 4 olas (la última alcanzó una altura 'runup' de 6m) el 15 de agosto del 2007, por lo que dudo mucho que se conserve como lo vemos en la foto. Espero volver allá pronto y obtener una vista actualizada.
